I picked up a nice IPS 7 inch touchscreen from Aliexpress to run on a Cerbo GX.
It all works perfect out of the box, except for the display off time function.
I thought I read a way of adjusting this function some time ago but am unable to find this article now, I think it was done via terminal codes or something.
Any ideas on how I could get this function to work on a non-Victron screen.

Not running any special APK, just put the screen on today and downloaded latest Firmware as shown below.
Also am I assuming correctly the moon / Z logo in the top right of the screen is a direct access to activate sleep function ?, this also does not do anything.
Question, Can you explain the difference in firmware from Normal and Large ?

Ok; we’ll see.
When running in a normal browser, then I’m not so sure if that button could ever work.
When running that special APK, maybe. Its on the list.
For what venus os large is, please check google, there is a manual that explains it in detail.

You can ssh in and run the following commands and reboot.
echo “/sys/class/graphics/fb0/blank % victronenergy,cerbo-gx.*” > /etc/venus/blank_display_device.in
echo “/sys/class/graphics/fb0/blank” > /etc/venus/blank_display_device
Then you will run into the issue I currently have. It only works for Version 3.5 Classic UI will not work on the New UI. The sleep button will still do nothing. We need somebody smart to help us with that.
