Up and running on a new (cheap) Packard Bell Monza T5 7-Inch tablet running Android 13 (installed from QR). 
The tablet is set to switch off the display after 2 minutes of inactivity in Android settings.
This works, but it seems the only way to wake the tablet again is by pressing the power button.
Double tap on the screen does not work. 
I guess this is a limitation of the device (did not test this before the device was factory reset).
The only related setting I found in gxDisplay is to keep the screen on, but perhaps I missed something??
