Do not have the remote display, set it up on the Ipad and Phone to monitor thru VRM, all good, sees everything…EXCEPT the 150/100 PV charger. (the 100/30 is visible however set up for a ground panel only) I read posts about settings, tried to make some changes, but do not see the options some suggest in GENERAL or SETTINGS. (firmware for the MPPT and CERBO current.)
I can see all devices in VictConnect, AND the PV charger pulling watts from the panels, SOC etc, but this one is missing in VRM?? What switch did I miss in the Cerbo? Thank you for your support.
How is the 150/100 connected to the Cerbo?
If connected via VE.Can, make sure it’s connected to a VE.Can port rather than a VE.Bus or BMS-Can port, and make sure that the required VE.Can terminators are installed at either end of the Can chain; if connected via VE.Direct, make sure the cable is firmly seated at both ends, as sometimes those little plugs can be a bit finicky.
Both device list screenshots are “Local”, so doesn’t actually show whether the unit is connected to the Cerbo at all or not, only that it’s working.
Thank you for your reply. The terminators (look like USB sticks) are still in the bag.
Unfortunate now suffering a neck injury so trying to get upside to view where we plugged into the Cerbo is difficult right now, maybe you can decipher from the pic? I believe the 150/100 is plugged into the Cerbo port above the lights.
If it is, then that’s why - those are BMS-Can ports, and the controller needs to be plugged into a VE.Can port with the terminators installed as required.
Correct.
One terminator will go into the remaining VE.Can port on the Cerbo, and the other will go into the open VE.Can port on the controller, as detailed in the respective user and installation manuals.
Thank you for your support.
Moved RJ cable from BMS port to VE Can port on Cerbo and inserted Terninator in open port…same on Mppt. Rebooted system, still not showing in VRM display.
And now the Mutliplus II is not reading, and its powered on…
Try rebooting the Cerbo, fiddling with the things plugged into its ports sometimes requires a reboot.
I figured it out, close topic.
