Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. I installed the MP2 into my fifth wheel. In the installation is MP2, Cerbo MX2, Lync distributor, Bluetooth shunt and solar controller. The system is working with no alarms or issues. However the VRM connection shows the MP2 off but I confirmed it is on and providing AC power to the RV and DC charging to the batteries. I did this by plugging the MK3 into my laptop and straight into the MP and confirmed it was on. I was thinking of forgetting my installation on the VRM and forgetting all the devices on the Victron Connect APP and starting over. The only thing I have not installed is the Solar Controller to the panels, it is connected to Cerbo and reading data. I have the (Cat5) plugged from the MP to Cerbo.
Are you sure you’re using
A. the correct port on the Cerbo GX (there are 7 RJ45 ports on the Cerbo and only 2 of them are correct for the MultiPlus) and
B. A Victron RJ45 UTP cable? Aftermarket cables usually work, but not always, so that’s a consideration.
Little help please. My MP is going into idle mode and I think it is to protect the battery from overcharging but I don’t know where or what to change in settings.
