Mutiplus updates, need a new process

I love my Victron products. they integrate well together.

all devices are very easy to update EXCEPT the Multiplus.
all devices have a one step click update via the VRM portal and they are full restored
NOT so for the Multiplus as it clears its data and must use a separate product to restore the dare and return to service.
i am worried about this complicated error prone service , thus do not want to brick my Multiplus.

Please Victron , update the f/w update process for the Multiplus so that it too is a simple one button update

I wouldn’t always necessarily upgrade firmware on the Multiplus unless:

  • You have issues
  • You need a new or updated feature addressed in the update
  • You commission a new installation

Multiplus’ can operate for at least a decade (I don’t have longer experience) on firmware that has never been updated.
