In my ESS configuration (3xMPii5000/Pylontech 52 kWh) also a MultiRS 6000 SOLAR is configured for 2x SOLAR MPPT and genset input.
When testing the genset an error Alarm #54 has occurred which cannot be resetted.
Has anyone seen this error situation and resolved?
The error message on display MultiRS reads:
Alarm: #54 LOW AC OUT voltage,
on CERBO and VRM the error message is :
Inverter/Charger - RS 48/6000/100 HQ2512E7WQG
High AC output voltage alarm: Alarm
Question 1: is the error too HIGH or too LOW AC out voltage?
I have stopped the generator, no AC IN, no AC OUT but alarm cannot be resetted!
Information in The MULTI RS manual doesnot lead to a solution:
Error 54 - Inverter output voltage:
If the battery voltage is getting low and a large load is applied to the AC output the inverter is unable to maintain the proper output
voltage. Re-charge the battery or reduce the AC loads to continue operation.
If the error immediately pops up when switching on the inverter (without load) on a full battery the cause is most likely a broken
replaceable internal fuse. Contact your Victron dealer for support.
Internal fuse seems ok, as I have seen AC on AC output!
As advised I have updated the FW to the latest version 1.28 and have also performed an factory reset.
BUT: problem is still present! Any suggestions are welcome!
How is the MultiRS working in the 3 phase MP2 system electrically?
So its logging 11v (source widget above) on the output you are testing with a meter and it is there?
For this try do a factory reset see if that does not clear it.
Test it separately to the systemmon a full battery. I know you did try the reset and formware. Try is again and rollback firmware.
I think if the fuses are ok then you are at the PRE RMA point.
Configuration: The single MultiRS is connected to the same LYNX busbar as the 3 MPii and Pylontech batteries.
The 3 phase MPii are connected to GRID and in series connected to power the house. MultiRS has 2x MPPT PV to charge battery . I have a emergency genset on AC-IN and no (permanent) load on AC-OUT.
As the problem occured testing a Chinese Genset I suspect the power/freq output of genset might generate the problem (hence the high freq spike?). I will test again with a different generator. However I find it very strange that when the fault is cleared (no AC power) the error condition cannot be reset via CERBO menu or Victron Connect. Error #54 HIGH or LOW keeps returning!
I have, at end of day, completely switched off MultiRS and rebooted then finally the errror #54 disappeared.
For this behaviour a pre RMA support call will be made if test with other genset also fails.
The behaviour occured both with FW v1.25 aswell with v1.28 now.
