This is my first time on the site.
I’m having some issues with my system. I have three MPPT solar chargers which are behaving normally and a multiplus 12/3000 120 which is limiting the charge from both shore power and the diesel generator. It limits the charge to a net +10 amps when the MPPT chargers are offline at night or won’t accept any A/C charge when the MPPT chargers are above 10 amps net.
My batteries are BlueNova lithium 300 ah and there are two of them. A friend who is an expert suggests that the firmware in the multiplus may be compromised but hasn’t seen this issue in the past. I would appreciate insight on this issue from someone who may have had experience with it in the past.
P.S. I was recently connected to shore power at a marina and since leaving have begun having problems. There may have been some power line transient that wasn’t noticed.
I also have a battery that won’t accept a charge from the system and I have disconnected and isolated that battery. The battery is fully discharged at 12.8 volts and I’m in the process of attempting to charge it back up with a lithium battery charger. This process is incomplete.
