Multiplus-II not visible on CerboGX

System has

  1. Skylla charger connected via VE.CAN, 250 kb/s, terminators in place
  2. Multiplus-II 12/3000/120-50 120V connected via VE.Bus to Cerbo GX thence to Digital Multi-control
  3. multiple shunts with VE.Direct cables

Cable from Multiplus to Cerbo seems good, as tested with MK3-USB adapter to set configuration. Updated Multiplus firmware today. Cerbo firmware is current.

If I disconnect the Digital Multi Control, the Multiplus will briefly connect. With the Multi Control connected, the Cerbo says Multiplus is disconnected.

Can I connect the Multi Control and Multiplus and see it on the Cerbo? How to do this??

My DMC is connected with a direct cable from the MP, the MP powers the DMC.

I’m not sure a Cerbo can power the DMC over the VE.bus cable.

Thanks, Ludo. I did successfully daisy chain DMC - Cerbo GX - MultiPlus, but the user interface on the Cerbo does not show the Multiplus activity. (DMC working fine.) There is also a Skylla that communicates via VE.Can, so I wonder if there is a conflict on the Cerbo’s interior D-bus, where all the data from different connections go.

If it is plugged into the ve bus port then it should just work, it does not matter what other things are plugged in.
Just since this seems to be a common thing, confirm you did not terminate the ve bus?
