Multiplus-II location & noice. For ESS to be build

I’m investigating how to setup a (D)ESS system for my house. I’ve space on the 2nd floor of my house to install equipment like the Multiplus-II etc. This is also the location where the current solar inverter is located, the Goodwe.

On the same floor there are also two bedrooms. I was wondering the amount of noice a Multiplus-II makes when delivering energy (full capacity) into the home grid? Would it be wise to mount the Multiplus on the 2nd floor?

I still need to pull cables from the ground floor where the breakers system (fuses box) is located.

The noise is definitely there.

I’d prefer the garage or an outhouse/garden shed if I’d ever had the opportunity.

Placing a MultiPlus-II near a set of bedrooms can be a very bad idea. Fans kick in on anything above 50% load and there’s humming noise even when the unit is almost idle. So, as @Ludo already wrote, place the unit on a remote wall.

Ok, thanks, I was expecting this more or less, hence my concerns and question.

Alternatively I can put the inverter into -0,5 floor (not the basement, not the groundfloor, but in between) there is some space, but then I need to extend the solar pannel cables from the 2nd floor to the -0,5 floor, that could be an issue as well.

To keep noise down, place it on rubber vibration damping sheets on the wall with rubber plugs, that will keep noise as low as possible!
