Multiplus II 12/3000 Installation Placement

I created a box for my batteries to be installed in, and the idea is to have my Victron components to be mounted on the extierior of it on 1/2” plywood.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to mount my Multiplus II simply because the box is 23 1/2” tall and the Multiplus II is **22 1/2” tall, leaving me with only an inch below it.

This does not give it enough room for ventilation or the 4/0 wires to safely be installed.

My question is, since I will be mounting Multiplus II on the outside of the box, which is under my van’s bed with plenty of ventillation and we will be running a 12v A/C in the summer, will mounting it horozontally be OK? If not, I’m open to other options.

Sorry about the mess but here is a photo of the said box without the 1/2 plywood around it.**

Thinking about it, I might can just cut 3 more pieces of 2x2 and extend the top 5 inches so I wont need to worry about overheating.

For this lid I’ll just notch around it. It’ll look like ■■■■ but better than overheating I suppose.

Not sure if this all utility area, but if so, can you mount the Multiplus on the wall to the left of the wood battery box?

I find it is best to have at least 100 mm (4”) under the Multiplus for wiring.

This is under the bed of the van.

That wall won’t work because it’s real thin and the kitchen is on the other side. It’s just a divider.

If I add 5 inches with 2x2s that will give me the needed 4 inches.
