Hi,
I installed a socket on AC-out just to have some backup in case the grid disappears. I put in a combined circuit breaker + RCD. Then I was wondering what triggering characteristics might work? Even class B requires 3-5 times rated current for instantaneous release.
Is the Multi able to serve that current or is there any internal electronic short circuit protection?
In the installation/service manual I found no info…
thanks & gretings!
Phil
ps. another question: I think RCD type A (AC and pulsed DC) should last or do I require type B (also continuous DC)? I think this is related to the load, not to the Multi, isn’t it?
