I’m running a 3-phase system with 3* Multiplus-II 48/5000/70-50 and have performed a firmware update to v563 this morning.
During the first stage of the firmware upgrade from v560 to v563, the stage were a default configuration is loaded, the Multiplus-II’s started charging the batteries full throttle ~11 kW. The batteries were at a SoC of 22% when I stared the firmware update!
I had to (temporarily) change the ‘Maximum charge current’ parameter (at Settings → System Setup → Charge Control) to ‘0’ (at was set to 50A) to stop the charging of the batteries during this firmware upgrade.
After merging the ‘before’ and ‘temporary’-config files and uploading of the merged file the system behaved as before, expect that the ‘Maximum charge current’ parameter was still set to ‘0’ and I had to manually set it back to ‘50A’. Otherwise charging batteries from the grid is disabled ![]()
Question:
Is this normal behavior? I can’t remember having seen this during former firmware updates.
Proposal:
Prevent the bulk charging by setting the ‘Maximum charge current’ parameter to 0 in the configuration of the first stage of the firmware update, but restore the original setting in the merged phase.
