Clean Multiplus Firmware update left the unit non-functional..... Solved

I did a firmware update that left my multiplus 12/3000/120 acting very strange. Voltage show 12.91 0A 100% and it’s Bulk Charging(!) , and charger setting at 70A, float at 13.70 and I have Low Battery LED on. None of this correct. Battery voltage with meter reads 12.91 So I know that is correct, but thats about it. I’m run MK3-USB and VE.Config and Victron Connect and I can’t find any parameter issues. Where to look next ? I wish I could add a picture to this post

Here is a copy of the configuration, see anything that would stop the charging?

limit internal charger to prioritize other energy sources unchecked

ps : You can simply upload a picture using the “upload function” …

Ok, now I see the upload function

I’ve fired up VE.config, loaded the default setting config file, and then pushed that to the Multiplus 12/3000/120. I can see that the pushed worked because the Charger setting went to 90Amp, and it was set to 70 before the push.
There was no change , went into bulk charge at 12.62V 0 amps

I then switched to Charger only, no change,

Seems the charger is dead from the firmware update

Checked all Fuses …

“limit internal charger to prioritize other energy sources unchecked” … check these Setting or “disable” it … maybe the System prioritized other Sources and so don´t use the charger …

You have to have a tick in the box for it to be enabled to charge from grid/generator.

When you firmware update, all settings are set to defaults. Then it should await reprogramming before charging.

I’ve SOLVED the problem !?, the following fixed it

powered unit down,

removed and reconnect all battery related cables

Tested the ANL FUSE, It passed a continuity test, but showed signs of burning or heat, replaced

powered unit up to ON via front switch, low battery light came on

loaded default config from VE.Config, changed one setting, Lowered charging rate from 90 amp to 70 amp

Front switch moved to Charger Only and the charger fired up and the low battery light went off

Front switch changed to ON, the unit seem to be running normal and battery charge went to float at 13.79V
