Multiplus II "Continue with missing phase" update planned?

Are there plans to also add the Multi RS feature “Continue with missing phase” to the Victron Multiplus II line? I currently have 1 Multiplus II GX with ESS and would might want to upgrade to 3 phase but I would like the option drop down to single phase when there is no solar production nor inverter usage (at night) to reduce standby usage.

From what I understand the current 3phase implementation shuts off and on as one unit. There is no option to scale up or down peak power and standby power?

Or am I missing a Multiplus II feature?

These systems have vastly different architectures.
If you don’t need ESS, the multis can be configured at initial setup to not “switch as a group”, so loss of a phase won’t drop all the phases, but I don’t believe you can actually physically turn off a unit. This is not possible with ESS enabled as the ground relay has to be operational when inverting, which isn’t possible with other systems still grid attached.
An idle inverter really doesn’t pull much power, you aren’t going to be saving much.

I would like the system to fully enable itself on command (with HomeAssistant if required) to be able to power ~6.6kW during cooking, car-charging and heating. But drop down to ‘master only’ 90% of the time just for networking, lighting and fridge.

We have gotten our standby usage down to 30~45W (and fridge) so ~3x15W for Multiplus II is significant.

In ESS mode, I do not know how to set up a “deadband” to force the Multiplus II to go idle below let’s say between -35W and +35W. I do not have 3phase at the moment so I also cannot experiment idling phase2 and phase3 on command.

Do you have any ideas on how to create more peak power without adding more standby power?

Add a generator.
