Earlier this year I replaced my MultiPlus 48/3000 with the Multiplus 48/5000 and now noticed that it’s not staying in passthrough mode when the parametrized min. SOC is reached. On the remote console I can see that the mode is constantly changing from bulk to passthrough and the LEDs on the device also indicate that it jumps into inverting every few seconds. On the grid meter I also can observer spikes of around 500W every few seconds when the MultiPlus seams to be charging. I never observed this with the MultiPlus 48/3000, which just stayed in passthrough, and now I’m wondering what might be wrong in my new setup?
My Setup:
- Single MultiPlus II 48/5000 on L1, Firmware 556, ESS assistant installed
- ESS Mode 1 with option “Optimized without BatteryLife” enabled
- Minimum SOC: 10%
- Grid Setpoint: 0W
Would be thankful for any advice!
