After about 2 hours of charging on mains input (120v) the bulk LED will blink and he unit will go into Passthrough only and will stop charging my batteries. The manual refers to a bulk phase lasting more than 10 hours. With only about 2 hours of charging this shouldn’t be happening as far as I can tell. I have checked all connections and input voltage all seems to be fine. My battery state is about 70% so there is no overvoltage happening at the battery side.
If I power down the unit and restart it will charge again normally. I’m trying to get to the bottom of this and find out exactly why this is happening. I downloaded my VE Config file and took a look, all looks fine.
Is there a way to look at a hidden log file of some sort that might indicate exactly what is happening? What are the triggers on the bulk charge time that might effect me? I have a solar array and an alternator charger that do most of the charging and only occasionally use the shore power for charging.
Any help is most appreciated.
