I’m using my Multi RS setup in ESS mode.
Since I’ve installed the newest firmware 1.22 I’ve noticed that especially when PV yield and / or AC loads are low it draws a lot more energy from grid to battery all of a sudden.
Is anybody experiencing the same?
Not sure if it is applicable for you, but when I upgraded the Muilti RS to the latest firmware the Grid code was reset to de default value and I was not able to return power to the grid anymore until I configured the correct value again.

Annoying.. but indeed it seems to immediately solve it.
FYI, there is a new Multi RS Solar firmware v1.23, the release notes state that this Grid issue is resolved in the future, they store the Grid config now in none volatile memory.
Please note that when you do the upgrade to this version, the Grid code is reset again as the issue is only solved after installing this version for future upgrades.

Strangly enough it did update for me with keeping the Gridcode in place.
Software… it sometimes remains a mystery
