MPPT throwing high battery temperature errors; where can I set the trigger values?

My MPPT 75/15 is throwing battery over-temperature alarms (error code #1). The battery (AGM) isn’t over-temperature.

The over-temperature alarm is not enabled in the MPPT alarm settings per the VRM portal.

Where can I set the temperature for triggering and resetting this alarm? I don’t see it in Remote Console nor in the MPPT settings.

Do you have the temperature sensor attached to the mppt either physically or to the cerbo gx or with the smart network?

I had it briefly connected via VE.Smart Networking to the Smart Battery Sensor on that pack (starter battery), but disconnected that link. Same problem.

It’s connected over VE.Direct to the Cerbo. The error is definitely coming from the MPPT, not the Cerbo or another device in the system. In Remote Console, the alarm is from the MPPT.

An odd one for sure if the unit is not hot.

If it is cold, resetting to default and disconnecting from all power sources for 3 minutes doesn’t clear it it may need to be returned for an RMA.

I’m going to try the power-off reset. Fingers crossed!

Check also the wiring, maybe the clampt gets hot due to faulty connection

Power-off reset seems to have done the trick.
