MPPT solar charger App doesn't show any consumption / the BMS does / WHY?

Hello,
My MPPT is connected to my Lifepo4 battery. Switching on my fridge, my BMS shows me a consumption of 8amps but the MPPT App sows me 0. The Victron is set up to Lifepo4 battery.
Why is that?

According to the manual:
“The current flowing from the solar charger in or out of the battery. A positive notation indicates that current is flowing into the battery and a negative notation indicates that current is being drawn from the battery”

BMS

Victron

Is your fridge connected to the battery or the load output on the mppt. If the fridge is connected to the battery then the mppt will not see this current. The mppt can only measure loads connected to the mppt load output.

Bingo!!
I thank you very much. It is connected to the battery and not the Mttp. Is there any benefit for me to connect it to the load output instead of the battery directly?
Thanks four the quick reply

I would not connect a fridge to the load output, they can have a high start up current above the rating of the load output even if the normal current would be OK.

All questions I was getting my head around for the last 2 days answered within 10minutes. Thank you very much for your quick help. I thought, that the solar is only working properly if it sees all the consumptions in the system because otherwise how should the MTTP know when to load when it doesn’t see the consumptions? But it seems the MTTP is only looking on the voltage of the battery, isn’t it?

Yes, you are correct, the mppt only looks at the voltage. If something starts drawing power, the voltage dips and the mppt powers up some more to cover it.
