Smart solar mppt 150 60, working perfectly for 4 years. After doing the 1.64 firmware update it stopped charging.
What I’ve tried:
Restart by disconnecting battery and PV connections.
Resetting to default settings in the app
Cycling on/off Charger enabled in settings in app
Any ideas to resolve this
What do you measure on the pv input ?
Polarity ok ?
Thanks, on the road right now, this is setup in our van.
Polarity is fine, only getting a few volts from the panels it seems, not sure I’ll get access to the roof before we get home in a few weeks to check the panels.
Found it odd that everything was working fine right up till doing the firmware update, never really considered that could be the problem till googling and discovering similar problems others have had after the same update.
As you have 0V on PV in, you won’t get any charge. This issue needs to be resolved first.
In general, the advice from Victron is not to do updates on a working system, and personally, I would not do an update on the road.
