Mp2 starter battery

good evening folks, in the mp2 user manual I read that the 12 and 24v models are equipped with a connection for charging a starter battery (current limited to 4a). do you know which connectors to use to charge a starter battery? I have a 24v mp2, in this case will the voltage for charging the starter battery be 24v or can it be changed to 12v?

It cannot be changed, no, a 24v Multi will have a 24v trickle output.

The connector to be used (if your particular model has one) will be shown in the Appendix of the user manual.

ok thanks. it is not possible to configure the 12v output, right? also can you confirm that that output is active only with AC powered?

No, it feeds from the plus contact of the main battery, so if the voltage rises because solar power set’s in, your starter battery will also get a trickle

is it not possible to configure the output so that it activates only when the 220v input is inserted? I would like to use that output to charge the engine battery, but not at the expense of the main service battery.
