I have read about the trickle charger feature for the starter battery on the multiplusII. All I read talks about when you have non-lithium as the starter battery. I have 100% lithium, for both starter and house batteries. Can I use this feature in my situation to keep the starter battery charged?
Yes will work just fine.
Do I just run a wire from the trickle charge connector to the starter battery positive terminal, and done? Assuming that all grounds are correct…
I also read this in another post. Gives me concern about this working properly…

Just connect the trickle charger output on the Multiplus to the positive of the starter battery BUT you must fit a fuse on this cable next to the starter battery to protect against a short circuit.
It will work from lithium to lithium OK but you have to be aware of the limitations of an uncontrolled charging source on your starter battery and an uncontrolled load on your house battery and make sure your batteries are protected.
