I have been using the cerbo with a screen and mouse for a long time, until GUI update, now cursor won’t show up, I can’t control anything now
GUI v2 is still in beta, so you must have enabled non-official-release Venus OS installation on your Cerbo?
I’ll move this over to the Venus OS beta testing section for beta version bug reports; in the meantime, rolling back to official-release OS (I believe it’s currently 3.42) will revert to the standard GUI which should continue to work with your setup!
Ok. I’ll give it a go.
I did change the display to GUI V2 a few months ago and the cursor disappeared, I had to click aimlessly everywhere on the screen to get through the menus to ‘language and display’ and click ‘standard UI’.
Once I did this, it reverted back and I could see the mouse cursor again.
So it does work, but only on standard UI.
It recently updated automatically to GUI V2 again last week and I am asking because I can control everything through VRM using the V2 or remote console on my phone. Which would be fine, But the screen is stuck on the new ‘whats new’ screen, and of course I can’t click on skip or see what’s new to get it to go to the brief screen to control it with my phone or the mouse.
So frustrating
Hi @TotalMayhem,
Thanks for this report, I have passed it on so it will be seen.
thank you
Hi @TotalMayhem,
Good news, Mouse support is back and added to Venus OS 3.51 which has just been released.
Thanks again for your report.
Does this mean it will now work on GUI V2 ?
Yes, but please try it yourself and confirm.
Woah, yep it finally works!
Thanks a lot , so good I can actually see the cursor again
Much appreciated
