I have installed a Multiplus-II 48/15000 inverter with 4 BYD LVF 5kWh with BYD BMS connected to a cerbo GX. When ESS is active, I get constant low battery alarm but when ESS is deactivated, the system works perfectly. Anyone with the same experience?
@amos.odhiambo97 Make sure you have paid attention to all settings BYD, such as min number of modules, dynamic and sustain settings in the assistant on the inverter. Also make sure the system is actually communicating with the batteries and check the CVL etc set by the batteries. Worth posting some of your settings and look at VRM graphs to understand when and why this may happen an definitely search the forum for similar posts.
sounds like a wrong setting in the ESS assistant. Have a look at the dynamic voltages. You should set them very low as this setting has nearly no effect with lifepo4 batteries (e.g. 44 Volt).
