Programming Multiplus 48/3000 with Hina Powergem plus

Goodday Gents,

I’m a bit new in the victron ess systems and a bought some products to start with making an ess setup. I did some out of the box systems as growatt but i wanted to expand my experinces with other systems.

The system;
Cerbo GX
Multiplus 48/3000
Linx M10 distributer
Victron battery switch
Hina Powergem plus
Victron vm3p75ct meter

2 growatt solar systems are on the AC in. The loads are also on the AC in. AC out is not used

I already installed all the components setup the bus connections. Via VRM and the control panel everything is visible.
VE configure connected to the multiplus and loaded the ess assistant. So far so good…
The issue is that the inverter wont go in charging mode or in discharing mode. When i look in the controlpanel in the multiplus it says there is already an VE bus BMS installed but cannot find. Also the ess relay test is still pending and the low battery light on the inverter is fixed on. In the control panel the alarm low battery is also active.
The Hina powergem sending its data to the cebro as i can see the SoC, voltage, and temperature.

I really think i missed something or checked a wrong checkbox.

Any help in this matter is much apriciated

What are the voltage readings at the battery terminals and also Multiplus terminals? Is the system configured to use the external energy meter reading and battery monitor set as the battery and not multiplus so it can control charging/ discharging?

The problem was that i set a VE bus BMS on the multiplus and the battery uses his own BMS with VE CAN. I made the changes and now it works fine.
The only thing i’m getting is an alarm VE BUS system 276 BMS lost alarm. Any idea for this?

When you make the change to LifePO4 in VE.Config, you have to also update the ESS assistant. Could be it?

I will try that first thing tomorrow. I will let you know if it worked.

Thnx!

I updated the ess assistent and the alarm still being active.
The strange thing was the alarm was from five days ago and i couldnt reset or accept it in the vrm or in the cerbo.

I powered down the whole system en powered it up en die alarm log history is empty.
The system is running now with no alarm

Thank you for your efforts!
