I wonder if there is any plan of adding a widget which would display basic information similar to the device list within the victron connect app. An Apple Watch complication would be useful too.
Victron already has both phone and watch widgets available via the vrm app.
Unfortunately since a few months that VRM iOS App is horrible. I need to log in with 2FA at least twice per day and the widgets are not functional unless you log in through the VRM App over and over again despite selecting Remember me every single time.
Unfortunately I dont have a VRM setup. I’ll do a bit of research but I’m not sure it’s practical for my use case. I have a simple system in my travel trailer which is never used in places with hookups. I have a smart solar 100/30 and a bmv-712. My understanding is I would have to add a cerbo gx and connect it to the internet through addition equipment. Maybe my next rig will justify a more elaborate system.
Unfortunately widgets require a system that is attached to the internet, so without a gx and internet connection, it just isn’t possible
I have the widgets on my phone and iPad and they work fine for me. Maybe you need to look into what is causing you to re authenticate.
I deleted and reinstalled the VRM app and re-added the widgets, perhaps this is enough to make it work again but from a user point of view one should not have to do something like this ever. That is simply poor coding.
The widget on my Apple Watch doesn’t add the virtual switches just added to the BETA 3.70 version. Do I need to do something special to get the virtual switches on my iWatch ? (like BETA VRM)
I don’t know, i use the widgets on the overview screen on my iPhone. I do not own an Apple Watch.
