I just got a Garmin VivoActive 6 for my birthday.
As I have a Victron installation, it would be great to track that on my watch, for now just for fun.
There is an app for the Garmin watches : VRM - Victron Energy | Connect IQ Store
Turns out that it doesn’t work on my watch, as the linking between VRM on my phone and the watch doesn’t work.
Checking the reviews on the app page (see above), it turns out I’m not the only one having issues, it looks like it works for some watches, and not for others.
Maybe there are some logs Victron can check to see which watches do work, and which ones don’t?
Then the simplest step would be to limit the app to those devices so people don’t get frustrated it doesn’t work.
Better would be to fix the underlying issue, but that might be more complex/impossible.
