Inverter switch function not accessable once "user" setting is selected

Evening all, I have an issue with a system that I hope someone might be able to answer for me.

We are working with an OEM, several Vans, all kitted as below:

Small system, using Victron NG 12V 330Ah Battery, Lynx NG BMS and distributor, Orion XS 50A, with a 12/3000 Smart inverter that all comms back to a MK2 cerbo. There is also a separate 12/30 Smart Charger with no comms etc just monitored via the BMS.

several rigs already completed and working, so I’m sure that something has changed lately.

Latest rig, have done all the setup the same, but when we have gone to put it into “user” setting (from user+installer) we have come across an issue where trying to control the inverter from the soft key (top left switches on new GUI) it reports that “setting is locked for access level”.

Is this a bug or is there an easy way to change the accessibility of this part.

All other units until this one have worked fine using this soft switch to control inverter on/off.

Inverter comms to cerbo is via ve.direct, all other comms is VE.Bus.

Appreciate any help to rectify.

Cheers

Chris

Via VRM log into installation.
Go to settings > general.
Scroll down to " Inverter/Charger Control".
Enable.

Hi mate,

Thanks for the reply. That works for the soft switch via VRM portal, but has not made a difference to the soft switch on the Touch screen.

Edit: just tried this and seems to be stuck in a “connecting” loop so can’t confirm this has worked either since putting the unit into “user” access level.

Cheers

Chris

Afternoon all.

Solution found.

Despite changing the GUI to “NEW UI” via VRM, it did not change locally as it has previously, and this led to a conflict between the Remote Console UI and the local UI, and the functionality of the soft switches to break.

cheers

Chris
