Inverter charge PowerAssist & peak power

Can someone explain how much PowerAssist is with an Victron inverter charger 8000va also how peak power works please.

Powerassist: The inverter charger (multiplus 2?) can add 8000va to what you have availble from grid

peak power is what the inverter can deliver for a short period

Thanks for confirming that. I thought that’s what it meant, I assumed the Powerassist was 8000va x2 rather than the limit of the grid. I assume with the example of the Multiplus II 8000 the limit is 100A (230Vx100A=23,000watts) - grid assuming the grid can supply that much. Therefore, combine 23kw grid + 8kva from the Multi.

Up to the rating of the transfer switch, temperature dependent.
