Hi I have a question about power assist, if I set the input current to 6A, the output will be 12A (total 2700 W) or 6A+MP so 1300 W + 4000 W from the inverter (MP-II 5000)?
And if I understand it, the input current will be used to the maximum first and the rest will come from the battery, right?

Yes.
Just be aware that there is a minimum level for power assist.

Over 6a ac input, the inverter will assist with a minimum of 1.6a.

The ac load has to fall below of 4.4a before the power assist will cut out.
