How to update Energy Monitor firmware via VC v6.10Beta10

First time in the Beta program. Until now I’ve been using VRM to keep all my firmware up to date.

When I launch the new VC via TestFlight I only see my Cerbos and MPPT controllers on the displayed device list. If I go into the Cerbo remote console, both MPPTs, my MP-II, the Plyontech (SOK) batteries, and my VM-3P75CT energy monitor all show up. Likewise on VRM.

Very interested in testing the new 1.07 energy monitor firmware, but can’t seem to find a way to download it? Guessing VRM Custom download but need a link to the 1.07 firmware to grab it.

You can update the VM-3P75CT in VictronConnect (beta) directly, the app contains the V1.07 firmware file. VictronConnect → VRM → “Installation Name” → Devices → VM-3P75CT → Settings → Product Info → Update Firmware.

Note that V6.10Beta10 has a bug which makes it impossible to change the VM-3P75CT phase number setting. I’ve reported this and it will be fixed in the next beta release.

When I get to VM-3P75CT is just shows me a status, there is no “Settings”. I have VRM communication set to 2-way in the Cerbo VRM settings and the “firmware update” panel is showing up to date at 1.06.

Doing this on my iPad and launching via TestFlight. Bit surprised that the VC would affectr the VRM portal website.

Got it. Used VC from the laptop connected to the MK3. Clicked on the Cerbo and the VM-3P75CT should up on the device list. Clicking there provided a popup indicating new firmware was available.
