How to monitor shore power through Cerbo GX (no Multiplus in system)

Marine system with multiple battery systems and multiple charging paths (shore power, solar, alternator). I have read the manual for the E112, and it does not mention the Cerbo GX as a compatible system.

I want to monitor the shore power recharging system for tripped breakers as well as grid-down events. I do not have room for a Multiplus, nor do I wish to add one. How to monitor the AC input power?

We use an em540 for 3-phase shore power monitoring albeit with a MP-II on L1. If you can’t monitor shore power as-is with a/any grid meter directly, you might still be able to read it’s values in Node-RED and feed that to a virtual grid meter to make that log to VRM.

Does anyone know if the E112 will work with a Cerbo GX?

The ET112 works with Cerbo, of course… the only limitation is a phase assignment other than “L1,” e.g., in the ESS… this limits its use as a meter in a multi-phase system.
You only have one phase… the ET112 will work.

No idea if this helps you in the graphical representation?
The multiplier is missing in the system… but the data from the meter is still running in the GX.

@kgiesselman Hello. Maybe I am misinterpeting something but the manual for the ET112 has the device connected to the CerboGX. It will appear in the VRM as a Grid Meter.

Perfect. I will download the manual.
