I have a decent Victron system in my Motorhome now, but I don’t have a multiplus (It wouldn’t fit). Instead I have a separate Phoenix 12/1200 & IP 22 mains charger in different locations, which works fine for my needs.
The “shore/mains power” AC and DC systems are totally separate, the only link (not even a link really) is the IP22 mains charger, to charge the leisure battery when I plug mains power in - That does it’s thing combined with the Victron MPPT for the solar if needed.
I’d like to be able to have the Cerbo/Touch 50 display the AC system readings in the relevant top left box when plugged into mains/shore power (currently grid power display is empty) - Is there a Victron meter that I can install between the shore power incoming socket and the breaker box, so that the GX can see/read the overall incoming voltage, and meter amps being drawn (plus watts in use)?
I should point out that I want the A/C loads box to display only whatever the inverter is doing (it does that currently, and don’t want to change that) - The inverter has it’s own individual AC socket, which is separate from the shore power AC sockets.
Which would be the best to use for this case? I don’t have space in my 240v A/C breaker box to install anything there, so it would have to be a standalone unit that sits between the main incoming line from the external shore power socket and the breaker box itself.
Thanks in advance.
