On my boat, I have a 24V system (Lynx Shunt, Smart 24V charger) for anchor and bow thruster and a 12V system (Multiplus, Lynx Shunt) for everything else.
I prefer not to have 2 Cerbo GX’s to monitor 24V and 12V, mainly because I then also need 2 screens. Is there anything available to monitor both 12V and 24V system on a single GX?

The Cerbo can have several battery monitors connected to independent batteries. You then have to choose one as your master battery, typically the house battery that is your main power source and has the inverters, solar etc. and is the one shown on the main screens with battery SOC, charge current and volts etc. The other batteries are then reported on the device list or by clicking on the main battery icon on the overview screen. None of the info from the secondary battery gets taken into account in the main battery system.
For Clarification. I have a similar setup. 48v with a smart shunt, feeds a 12v via DC-DC as the. The 48v system is for my boat motor and inverter, 12v is for house loads including refrigerator and anchor windlass. According to this, the main page can NOT have a ‘sub-section’ which would crowd the screen a little but give a little insight on a two bank setup. This also states, the device should still connect and show in the device list inside the “device list” inside the VRM Portal. right? What would you do if you just bought a new cable to plug the BMV712 display in, you’ve swapped ports and tested other devices on the cerbo ve.direct plugs but the BMV712 will not show up on the list of devices. I’ve restarted. I can connect to the 712 on the Bluetooth local side, but it never shows in the portal. I’m thinking one of three things are wrong: 1. New cable is bad. 2. 712 has a setting I can’t find that needs to broadcast. 3. Cerbo won’t recognize another shunt when it already has one.
Not sure what to make of this, it should automatically recognise a new VE Direct device or at most need a reboot. The GX devices can have more than 1 battery shunt and there is no setting to enable / disable comms in the BMV712. There used to be a setting to choose what battery monitors to display on older versions of Venus OS under settings/ system setup/ batteries/ ??? but this does not appear as I remember in older versions. Faulty BMV or GX socket or cable is a possibility.
Thank you. I realized that I have a be.direct to usb cable at my disposal. It’s not long enough but I should be able to use a common usb extension to plug in and test if it’s the cable. Otherwise I need to order another cable.
I’ve tried many times to get the Cerbo to see the BMV-712 which monitors my 12v bank. I used the ve.direct cable in many different plugs, then I tried a ve.direct to USB converter in the USB plugs. Rebooted each time. Never sees the BMV-712. I’ve given up on that one unless someone else has an idea. Victron should update the cerbo so it can show info from two devices, it’s just a new dashboard with some configuration.
The system recongnising a VE.Direct device and it being able to show that information natively are two different things.
A Cerbo is able to recognize multiple BMV/SmartShunts and list them in the device list. Since yours does not seem to show up in the list and you tried multiple different cables already, i would guess the issue is on the BMV side.
However, even once the secondary BMV is recognized and listed in the device list, VenusOS does not have any meaningful way of showing that secondary batteries status in a proper way. One option could be the boat page, since that has the ability to show a propulsion battery, but thats not really fitting i guess. VRM has a usable way of displaying multiple battery readings as additional info cards on the main overview
