sounds simple but i can’t see any way to show total Watts produced by my Victron MPPT and my Wind inverter over a selected historical period. VRM shows ‘solar’ but this seems to be a combination of both. Any way in VRM or node red to show the data im looking for?
Separately, the whole thing becomes confusing, because the ‘outputs’ are combined in the VRM for the sake of clarity.
Things look different via Red Note if your meters run separately for AC or DC. Then they have separate IDs in the system … See Remote Console / Services / Modbus TCP / Available Services …
How is the wind turbine integrated into the system? via AC or DC?
You could do this with a custom widget in the advanced graphs
thx, i tried with all the different variables, but none of them give me this data i.e. total KW generated for selected time period
thank you Steffen, but i dont see ‘Services’ under remote console menu?
Wind turbine is via AC through a Quattro. Is there such a thing as a simple node red template that would show this data?
PV Inverter here is my wind turbine by the way.
You could try configuring the meter as a ‘generator’ in the setup in the console. It may then be named differently …
As it is now configured as ‘PV’, these values are also added together as PV …
Please show a screenshot of your menu … at the Relays / Services / I/O level … that should actually be here
thx again.
ok, sorry i found it, it was turned off, now its turned on.
This is what i get if i change my meter role to generator
I’ve just tried it with my AC Out PV … but it doesn’t work … A generator is created … but it is not connected. However, the topic of optical integration of wind PV has already been discussed several times, including in the old forum … mostly without the desired success
Then you can now only try to use these generated IDs in another Grafana etc. visual interface to create your own layout …
ok thanks.
so first of all, is it possible to use node red to show this data?
and secondly, how would i do that? i’m not a programmer, i have no idea where to start - although i do have a node red setup that somebody else did for me to control the charging/sellback hours of my system based on battery level
That’s the ‘problem’ … With Nodered you can perform advanced calculations and additional functions in the background, but not display them again.
You cannot easily display these values and functions on the Remote Console or in the VRM. You would have to go much deeper into the programming or display them on a different graphical overview
thanks, by any chance do you know any companies who provide this service to design and build such things for customers?
