Wondering if anyone has an on how to monitor energy usage of a tenant? We operate telecommunications sites and have full Victron setups, where we have other providers locate on our site I need to be able to bill for power usage. What I was hoping to do was install a meter on their AC supply and have that show up in VRM but not be used by the system as its grid meter for the system.
Ideally I would get a new pane in VRM with energy usage and be able to graph that and get a total Kwh for a month to bill.
Hello Alex, i think he wants to have another meter pane show up on VRM as a secondary grid meter for monitoring, i too need such a feature and someone else asked same on another thread for 24 meters
Thats the total system use. as @CM9ja mentioned I want a second meter that measures load, this meter would only be using part of the system total but allows me to see what that customer consumed in a month of the total power consumed by the system.
I don’t need it to do any calculations just simply display the consumption as read by the meter.
You can make a node red dashboard to display the information that the energy meter sends and displays what you need.
It wil be interesting to have the grid outage as a trigger to start reading and calculating but i am sure it can be done.
