I connected my Windows PC to my Smartsolar 150/100 using the VE.Direct to USB cable and when I load VE Connection software it does not see the controller. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @RobertSV The way you describe the software suggests you may have the wrong one. “VictronConnect” is the one you want. “VEConfigure” is for VE.Bus devices like inverters. The manual… VictronConnect manual

Turns out that after installing the USB drivers I was able to see my controller.

I am using the Victron Connect software, latest version. When I ask it to scan for devices, it says none are detected.
