Hi. Is there a way to set an upper A/C input limit, say 16 amps as a max and be able to lower it using cerbo and touch screen, example Multiplus 5kva in caravan and want to have a max input of 16 amps at a caravan park and never any more but lower it to 10 amps when using at home
Thanks Grant
There are 2 stages to this. There is a setting in the Multiplus ac current limit called “Overruled by remote”.
So you set your max 16A current limit, then you enable the “Overruled by remote” feature. This then allows the Cerbo to alter this.
See Multiplus AC limit settings
Then on the Cerbo you can go to the inverter settings (click on the inverter) and then adjust the setting.
Check to see if this works, if it does not the Multiplus needs the override enabling.
Hi. Tried this.
If you set the the input limit to 16 via mk3 it is set
If you tick over rule by remote it lets the cerbo select any input
Unlike a digital control where you can set the maximum input limit?
I see what you mean, there is no upper limit to the Cerbo input, I had thought there was.
What you can do, is use nodered to check the value being sent remotely and if it exceeds X then reset it to X. So it becomes a watchdog effectively.
With inverter controls on, you can also set this via VRM.
