@Roland_1 Are you using a UTP RJ45 cable? What else is connected to it and other than just checking the connection, have you replaced the cable? Is it a fixed or mobile installation and how is it powered? Direct from the battery?
Yes, I’m using an RJ45 cable. The connected devices are: Quatro 48/10000/140, SmartSolar MPPT 250/100. It’s powered directly by the battery. And I haven’t changed the cable yet.
Is the cable shielded or unshielded? Best to use unshielded and is the MPPT connected via VE.Can or VE.Direct and terminated correctly if the former? Also, check the auto restart when connection is lost setting on the cerbo.
If the hardware is okay and connection to VRM stable, the next thing I’d check would be CPU usage and telltale signs in the logfiles of watchdog rebooting the system due to high load. Unwanted Reboots - #7 by Ektus
