Grid code password?

When i first set up my mp2 as ess, i mistakingly set it for UK G98 and used it this way for a couple of months but not happy that the 10kva was constantly drawing from the grid when loads went over 3.6kw, it defeated the purpose of having 10kw of inverter power. So after asking on here, i was told its because the grid code G98 only allows for 3.6kw of battery power to be used.
So now i wanted to change the settings to G99 but it wont allow me to do this unless i enter a grid code password.
I dont remember ever having entered a password in the beginning, so why dows it ask for one now? I dont know the password, and why do i even need one for an item that i own?
Is there a default password, or a way around this?

It has security reasons.
Ask your seller/distributor for help.
The password is not available for the end user.
There is a warning about that when you select a grid code for the first time.

[Moderator edit: removed grid code password]

Its ok, my Victron supplier sent it to me yesterday, and it worked. Im guessing it cant be put of here due to it getting in the wrong hands?

It is worth it to sign up for Professional (professional.victronenergy.com) and watch the training videos.
They answer many DIY configuration questions.
