Garnet seelevel ii bluetooth

I know there is a way to hook up the see level rvc version to a cerbo
What would It entail to capture the Bluetooth stream and parse it like the seelevel app reads it
Node red maybe ? Or would we need the proprietary Bluetooth protocol from Garnett?

I’m
Sure it could be done like Ruuvi tags

RV-C or Bluetooth? I have the RV-C version which is a 3 wire connecting and enabling the service.

The problem is a very difficult wire path from the Cerbo to the panel

Crosslinking my feature request. Please go vote for it

Yes please add this code, it’s not a hard request as it’s read only and requires no handshake with the meter.

Any luck on Victron adding the ability to read the bluetooth from the seelevel? I am currently debating on what system to add to my 5th wheel and I would like a hardwired system since the whole bottom of my rig is open right now, so the Soul is an option as well

any luck with getting this done yet?

Any progress in this? Would prefer the BLE version over snaking a N2K wire.

Wow, that would be an amazing addition to the Cerbo! I’ve been using my BT Seelevel for almost 8 years now. Being able to view the tanks via VRM would be quite a coup..

I have a more permanent solution I’ve sent via PR to Victron linked in the ticket here: Add support for SeeLevel II Bluetooth integration for 709-BTP3 · Issue #1508 · victronenergy/venus · GitHub

However, when I couldn’t move forward on my own, I built a Python revision: GitHub - TechBlueprints/victron-seelevel-python: SeeLevel 709-BT Bluetooth to Victron Cerbo GX for monitoring RV tank levels, temperatures, and battery voltage which you can use right now with a little ssh and scp.
