FYI: VM-3P75CT v1.08 extra functions not (yet) available in VictronConnect Stable (6.10)

Hi folks,

Recently firmware v1.08 for the VM-3P75CT energy meter was released.
According to the Changelog it’s supposed to add EV charger, heat pump, water pump and water heater roles.
In VictronConnect Stable release (at this time: v6.09) those roles are not selectable.

From this post I’m thinking that we’ll need to wait for VictronConnect v6.10 to have those roles effectively available.

So if you’re like me and are puzzled as to why the new roles aren’t available yet, it’s probably the VictronConnect software :slight_smile:

Edit: the updated Changelog now states that those roles will only be available as from VictronConnect v6.10 :slight_smile:

It says so in the changelog: Below items require VictronConnect v6.10 or newer to be displayed or change the setting.

Do you believe me when I say that in the Changelog file I opened this morning that particular line was not yet present ?

Today the desktop version of VictronConnect v6.10 was released but the extra functions of the VM-3P75CT meter are not selectable.
Furthermore, they are also no longer mentioned in the meter’s firmware changelog file.
EV Charger is an option but not the others.
It seems like we’re going to wait a bit longer to measure heat pump, water pump and water heater devices :frowning:
