I’m really happy with the new gui-v2 and mqtt connectivity of VenusOS, thanks Victron for giving us this. I can imagine that you have other things that are more important than my feature requests but will give you them anyway.

  • possibility to select a shunt for displaying the DC load instead of the calculated value
  • possibility to select more than one inverter for the displayed AC load
  • possibility to select the device list as start page (or url’s to jump to gui-v2 pages)

This is already available to set a SmartShunt or BMV-712 as a DC energy meter with the type set as “DC System” so this then shows the actual DC power instead of the calculation. I have one in this role, works well. See the SmartShunt manual.

after changing the smartshunt ‘type’ to dc–meter the cebro gui-v2 still shows a calculated value for DC load of the installation not the shunt measured value.

Did you set the meter type to “DC System” because it should then populate the DC tile on the display. Assume the SmartShunt is connected to the Cerbo by VE Direct. Mines been running for nearly a year now.

Perhaps after doing this a reboot is required or a bit of time for Venus to cstch up.

I would like to see the name in the display.
When you have more than one installation.
They are named in VRM.

thanks pwfarnell changing the meter type to dc system made it work, happy with that.

agree with you Bluey, the name in the display would be a welcome addition.
