EVCS (screen) boot loop?

Yesterday I managed to get my EVCS installed. The interface looked nothing like what’s all over the internet so I did a firmware update via vrm portal. That was not a complete success as them screen showed: System Data ERROR!. So I decided to do another (manual) firmware update, using the (required) C025 version form the professional site. So now the screen is working, BUT it looks like the screen is stuck in a sort of boot loop. Every (lets say) 20 seconds it reboots fine and then after another 20 seconds this process repeats itself again and again.
Another reload of the new firmware does not solve this.
In the meanwhile I updated my GX10 to make sure thats not causing it (couldnt think why that should be possible).
Does anyone have a solution for this ?
Regards, Rob

Hello @RLE . I’m sad to hear that. I can check your EVCS. I will write you a PM.

So is a hardware thing. Those interested

Hi, I’ve got the same issue. Got new firmware 2.08 and still have this weird reboot issue. Where should I ask for help? Is there a specific guide to follow?

Your seller/installer should be the first place to ask.

Try to apply the update again manually, also try to disconnect the CS completely for a few minutes.

Yep, I asked the installer and he was clueless about what the reason could be. I also saw this post and I thought that the reason could be the same as the post above. Is there a way to check if it is the same problem as above? If I need the same HW modification?

Maybe, but you need to ask your seller/installer about that.
You only get that new LCD driver through your seller/installer/distributor.

The community can’t help you with that.

If you enter the serial number of your device in this form you request will be send to the responsible distributor.

What you should do.

Contact your reseller, he should obtain a small piece of hardware for you that needs to be put inside your evcs. Apparently the screen needs more power and this print helps do just that.
