EVCS Display / touchscreen problems

We have a strange problem with our Screen on our HQ2231*****

A few months ago in a cold period our screen/display gets cracking on it.
but still working good. it realy looks like a plastic film of the screen get lose of the display.

We have make a warrenty request on victron and we get a new screen we have replaced and it works fine.

But now on the new screen we get the same issues it looks like.
Can someone tell me what this is?
We really looks on the screen when we have installed for a protection plastic but it dont have.

This EVCS dont get sunlight on it the complete day.
Only the evening sun from 19:00 till down.

This is the original screen!

This is the replacement screen where we now have the same problems looks like

No more people with this problem?

Did you peel the plastic protector off or did you leave it on?
In other words, is this the screen or just the removable film that is a problem?

there is no plastic protector on it
In the victron manual we read nothing that we need remove a plastic protector.

Most devices, not 100% sure it applies to Victron, will ship with a clear film on screens to prevent them being damaged in manufacture and shipping.
Some people choose to leave them on, but they will bubble over time if not removed.

It was just a query to understand if the actual screen is damaged, or if, perhaps, there is a protective film still on the screen which is the issue.

It is tough to tell from the photos.
In any case, your supplier should be able to see what the issue is and raise it with Victron.

We have removed the display from the EVCS.

On the picture

Right side of the picture this is the display protection this is a verry thin Plastic film (This we have removed when we placing this new display).
Left Side of the picture this we have removed from the display with a verry sharp small knive. This is a Plastic film with lines on it. this plastic is verry Thick plastic sheet.
This sheet is glue on the sides of the display.
I Realy think this is not for removing….

This display looks now good when this thick film is removed.
But you can now feeling the backlight i think…
