Hi all, i have a Victron EV charging station (with screen).
Friday i had a problem with the wifi and decided to factory reset my charging station to factory defaults to re-setup the device.
But i can’t get to the portal of the EV charging station (on 192.168.0.1).
i am an it technician and know my way arround wifi, AP’s and portals.
It does not matter if i do a large or a soft reset (5 or 15 secs reset button). Sometimes (30% of the time) he connects to the EV charging station ap, but i can’t get the portal to load on 192.168.0.1. i can ping (sometimes) to the ip address but with ping times of < 1 second, while i am standing next to the device. I have tried it also with multiple client devices, tablet, smartphone, laptops, all have the same problem.
i have spent several hours now trying to setup the damn thing (i think i have reset it about a 100 times) but it never works. i also unplugged all other AP’s in the area to be sure they don’t “push” the EV wifi signal away, but nothing helps. Normally from firmware > 2.0 bluetooth should be enabled by default, but it is not … the Charging station did not come original with > 2.0FW but had been running for the last few months on it without problems.
