ET112 not showing value if setup as AS Load, but does show value if setup as Grid

Hi,

I have the Victron ET112, wired behind my inverter (and before the RCD and MCB) so I can monitor the total power consumption, be it from the grid or from the inverter. At least that is the plan.

In all honesty, I have to say I haven’t wired in the inverter yet, so I am actually powering my AC directly from the Grid, but that shouldn’t matter for what I want to achieve.

However, when I configure it as AC Load

It doesn’t show any measurement in the overview screen

Although, it does seem to measure something

Which seems about right as at this moment, I only have a 5G modem and a camera active on AC.

When I go to setup and choose Grid as it role

It shows the value as both Grid and AC Load

Which isn’t wrong at the moment as I am connected to the Grid, but when I disconnect from it, it won’t be correct.

Why would it only be showing something when configured as Grid and not as AC Load?

Actually, in the VRM portal it does look more realistic, although it don’t understand where it gets the EVCS naming from

EDIT: It seems that because I was trying different setups for the ET112 (on of which was as EVCS charger) it remembered this as a device, although I changed it already a couple of times from Grid to AC Loas and back. Funny.
