ESS Relay test - Pending

First day of ESS up and running but, with some questions:

  1. Why is the ESS Relay test in Pending condition ? Is there a documented list of conditions for the test to pass ?
2 . Shall I assume that backup is not available until finishing this test ?

Battery SoC 75%, grid tied Fronius PV.
Being a fixed installation, the MP is wired with the main fuse-box by means of 5 conductors. 2 for AC In, 2 for AC Out and 1 PE. The PE is connected to MP chassis as well as to AC In PE.
Is it necessary to also connect AC Out PE to chassis PE ?
All the house is wired with L-N-PE. PE-N connection being made in the main fuse-box.

If the system inverts when grid is cut off then you are ok and battery discharges to loads you are also ok.
Those would be two great commissioning steps to perform.

But there is some mention here to do with feedback.

Thank you for quick reply and advice.

Will perform the test right now, and write the results.

Answering to Q9:

  1. Battery SoC is 75%
  2. Discharge current limit shows 100A
  3. Battery voltage is 53.37, the ESS Relay test condition mention min. SoC 20% or voltage above 56V
  4. Feed-in is working during Fronius PV production
  5. The MP switch is set to position I (1).

I was reluctant to test, mostly because a lot to do in the kitchen and also due to a unexpectedly long initial switch ON time, described in another post.

L.E.
Test results update, switching OFF the main fuse got to a complete black-out. Embeded GX and battery is still alive.
Switching ON the fuse, GX is showing: battery 75% and 53.4V / AC disconnected / ESS Off.
Power on AC Out 1 have been regained 15 minutes later.

Settings-Devices-MultiPlus-II show as attached images.

It turns out that issue was due to my wrong use of product.

The Inverter (I) - OFF - Charger Only (II) switch was on charger position.

Instead of looking at the actual switch, I was using the pictogram on the lower access panel that, in the reading position, show a mirrored image of the switch.

Lol. Funny what you miss.

I kind of wondered about asking about switch position. Glad its sorted though.
