Hi All
subject says it all…
Tonight, battery reached minSoC for the first time after ESS peak shaving had been introduced (v3.30).
I never cared about the setting, having a 3ph 63A grid connection, so no limits were actively set in the GX.
Tonight, when minSoc had been reached, the battery continued to discharge with a very low wattage (around 27-45W), but still not zero/going to idle.
This morning, the battery Soc had reached 7% …
Why didn’t ESS stop discharging the battery at minSOC?
Even when I now set AC current limits (to 62A) the system still depletes the battery while AC currents are not anywhere near that limit.
Only when I set the mode to “above minSoC only”, the battery goes to idle.
…I feel pain between my ears…eager to understand that behaviour.
