Hi all I recently set up Dynamic ESS with Octapus energy
At first it seemed to work showing the electricity prices night rate (2:00 to 5:00am) and peak rate (16:00 to 21:00)
What i noticed is that if there is not enough PV to fully charge the batteries it won’t charge the batteries at the scheduled charge times 02:05 for 2:54 hours but rather like to charge the batteries at the higher rate of electricity import 16:00-21:00
I have had to disable dynamic ESS as it does not work
Can Victron provide any clues as to why Dynamic ESs wants to charge the batteries at the highest import rate
It did work to start with but assumes you have enough solar
I have also set the discharge limit of the batteries to 80% as solar production at this time of year is rubbish
Has anybody else experienced the same
